Jwaneng Galaxy Coach, Morena Ramoreboli has been appointed as a Technical Consultant to assist the Botswana women's national football team in preparation for the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament.

Morena Ramoreboli who is originally from South Africa is now the head coach of Premier League club Jwaneng Galaxy in Botswana, who were in the CAF Champions’ League group stage for the first time in their history under his supervision. He first emerged in 2013 when leading third-tier Maluti FET College to victory over Orlando Pirates in the 2012–13 Nedbank Cup. He later took over as caretaker coach of the South Africa national soccer team, Bafana Bafana, and led them to the 2021 COSAFA Cup title.

Botswana women's national football team qualified for their maiden Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament that will be held in Morocco in July 2022. In preparations for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations finals, the Senior Women National Team will be camping in Jwaneng where they will receive proper training and support from the head coach Gaoletlhoo Nkutlwisang, Coach Morena Ramoreboli, and other appointed technical team members to represent the nation in an impressive performance.

The Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament will be held in Morocco from the 2nd to 23rd July 2022. Botswana women's national football team will be competing against 3 national teams, first going against Burundi on the 4th of July and Nigeria on the 7th of July at the Prince Heritier Moulay EL Hassan and lastly South Africa on the 10th of July at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.
